BSG: Emmy Snub

July 17, 2008

No way!!!!  Can’t believe it!!!  no Emmy nominations for BSG.  I guess SciFi of this caliber still isn’t “mainstream” enough to get a nod.

Others also seem to be of a similar mind:

Or maybe there is another reason….  Like they have changed the Emmy rules to say that you can only be nominated if the TV show was FILMED in late 2007 or early 2008.

The bitterness continues……

    I can’t believe you’re blogging.
    I can’t believe I didn’t check this out before.
    Most of all , I can’t beleve we’re related.

    Comments on it all:
Wal-E is Silent Running? I guess I’ll have to check it out. Any talking bombs? No, wait that was another cheesy 70’s SciFi film.

You, who introduced me to Monty Python didn’t like Brazil. My whole vision of you has now been completely and forever degraded. At least you found the courage to repent of your mistake.

I say the majority of our heritage is Scottish (or Scots/Irish if you think that those kittens were biscuts)not Welsh. I’m sure our ancient Scottish ancestors use to tell jokes like: how many Welshmen does it take to blow out a candle?

My comments disappeared. I guess the thought police are at work again. All those well thought out thought swallowed in the black hole of nothingness.

    Some quick comments:
    Are you sure we’re related?

    Didn’t like Brazil?

Does Wal-E have a talking bomb? No, wait, that was another cheesy 70’s SF film we loved.

I think the majority of our ancestory is Scottish (or Scots/Irish if you believe those kittens were biscuts).

As one of our ancient ancestors said to the other: How many Welshmen does it take to blow out a candle?

The Dragon Riders books are really Science Fiction not Fantasy. But you’ve got to slug through a couple of more books before you find that out.

Next Food Network Star is about to start. I have to get back to real life.
